today isnt a very good day. granted it just started, but it didnt start very well. i woke up by my dad saying, "its 7:30, dont you have school"?. all i could reply with was "shit". my phone is a godless heathen, because among several other malfunctions, it decides it doesnt wanna read the charger when i plug it in, and it had a full battery last night when i went to bed, so i decided to let it go and it should still be full today. not so much. it died. so, its 7:30, im not dressed (i disregard the idea of showering at this point), and i have an 8:00 class in boca 50 minutes away (fucking traffic).
so i say screw it, i threw some clothes on, and headed out. it was rainy and dark and gloomy outside. i really didnt want to go to school. my sight singing class is the first one and were only allowed 2 absences before the evil teacher devours our soul, but i just debate with myself, you know, right shoulder devil, left shoulder angel, whether i should go or not, and i just think about everything else in my life, not paying attention to traffic (dont worry, i was in the springs high school zone at the time), and im just listening to music. it kinda made me sad, cuz i was listening to the atticus 3 cd, and the mxpx song "grey skys turn blue", which isnt as happy and peppy as the title sounds. its a semi-uptempo song, but it has sad lyrics and a kind of haunting lead guitar melody that just depressed me more. so im pondering what im going to do, and as i hit sample and lyons, i make a u-turn and head home. on the plus side i found $2 in the pocket of the pants i was wearing.

Ok, so, friday night i come home after a 7 hour drive from tallahassee with morgen. so, im a bit tired at that point and my butt hurts.
this all began my warped weekend of awesomeness.
saturday, pompano beach
-mae is cool, but i cant see why morgen would want to marry one of them, theyre all kinda goofy looking. especially the guitarist.
-the mae tent does not exist until after i need it.
-james is too cool and already met thrice before.
-everyone and their mom was there
-reggie and the full effect ruled beyond all comprehension.
-unbearable heat until 6, then pouring rain which causes fallout boy to stop their set. thrice just HAD to go last, didnt they?
-big d and the kids table were all sorts of coolness.
-a girl who was obviously not all sober came up to me in the rain and said she was drunk and cold and wanted me to warm her up. i stared blankly at her as she started bumping into me, backing up, and bumping into me, until she asked if i had weed, said no, and she walked off. awesome, lmfao.
-i have my picture taken with eddie and teppei. jealous? yes, you are, dammit!
-tooooooo tired to drive to port st lucie tonight.
sunday, orlando
-rob needs to stop throwing shit at cars. no fireworks for him. damn that party mix!
-wait to get in? who does that? pssshhh, not us.
-rob and i forgot to throw stuff at fallout boy. he hates them, and i just think its funny.
-orlando was a much better venue than pompano, so there.
-reggie rocked, yet again, but we saw that coming, right?
-james is a whorish bastard who thinks that we hold places for him in line. "where are you guys? in line for the thrice signing? ill be there in a second". and he just ASSUMES we'll let him in with us. HA! lol j/k
-the mae signing was a chaotic mess which could have been avoided had i been the only person there.
-rob looked so depressed after reggie, since he was in pain (so was i), and he really only liked mae and reggie. but i hit him a couple times to make him feel better.
-atreyu is pretty awesome.
-THRICE WAS INCREDI-MAZING!!!!! the only word to describe them. i made it up, you like it? yeah, i know.
-i got nailed in the head with a gatorade bottle. backstory: 10 minutes before thrice everyone got impatient and started a bottle fight. theyre supposed to be empty. bottles were everywhere, and i got nailed straight to the back of the head with a FULL gatorade bottle. james wins though, cuz he got headbutted to the side of the head in their mosh pit.
-i shouldnt have spent all that money.
-the members of mae seemed almost lost as they wandered the fairgrounds. lol.
-i ate food. androb slept. and you know what calming music we played after the show to calm us down? atreyu. lol
-i didnt think that driving home after all that would be possible. but we did it. rock on.
i know i left some stuff out, but im in a hurry cuz i gotta go to the bathroom but i wanna finish this first. much love to mah people. peace.
